The more financially solid you become in Austin the more west you move. Lake Austin and Lake Travis are dotted with large acre homes and affluent subdivisions known as Westlake Hills and Lakeway and the bit more affordable Bee Cave. There is plenty of boutique shopping and fine dining too. The summer is the time when this area really becomes alive with plenty of city dwellers commuting out here on weekends to get away from the city and play at the lakes. |
