This area could be characterized as eccentric, unusual and very diverse. This area has the popular shopping area known as “SOCO” or south Congress Ave which offers everything from antiques, bargains and upscale shoes and clothes with plenty of tasty eateries. Go a little more southeast and you have the beautifully planned subdivision of Circle C Ranch, newer updated homes, tennis, golf course and several other amenities for the home owners. If you want to stay more central but in the south Austin locale, chose historic Travis Heights, an area of old Spanish tudor and colonial style homes.
